God's Love is Everything

"If you’ve gotten anything at all out of following Christ, if his love has made any difference in your life, if being in a community of the Spirit means anything to you, if you have a heart, if you care— then do me a favor: Agree with each other, love each other, be deep-spirited friends. Don’t push your way to the front; don’t sweet-talk your way to the top. Put yourself aside, and help others get ahead. Don’t be obsessed with getting your own advantage. Forget yourselves long enough to lend a helping hand." Phil. 2:1-4 (MSG)

This week, I've learned that God's love meets my every need. This agape love is what has compelled us to seek out living in a community where we lean on one another. My relationship with James, Shealy, Lauren, Paul, Stephen, and Eric is God's demonstration of grace and love towards me. Yes, there are times of conflict where we don't understand one another - but it is in the moments of hurt, confusion, and anger that I've really seen the importance of being in community.

There are so many things on my mind right now and so many emotions - but one thing I know and need right now is to FOCUS myself on God's love that meets all my needs.
